Butternut Spice Loaf

Directions:

Cook squash; mash; measure 1 3/4 c. Cream butter; add sugar, beating well; add eggs, one at a time. Combine flour and spices; add to butter mixture alternately with squash, beginning and ending with flour. Stir in pecans. Spoon batter into greased and floured 9”x5” loaf pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hr. or 70 min. Cool in pan 10 min.; remove and cool completely.
